Things to Do
Mini Cow Cuddles
Meet the fluffiest residents of the ranch.
Our mini Highland cows are the reason most people first hear about the ranch, and the reason they come back. Sit in the pasture with them, brush their coats, feed the calves, and take the photo everyone asks about.
Sessions run daily in small groups so every guest gets real time with the herd. Spring brings newborn calves; the rest of the year the cows are just as happy to see you.

Popular Pick
Thirty minutes in the pasture
A guided session with our herd: you'll learn each cow's name and story, brush them, and feed them by hand. Calves are bottle-fed in season. Children are welcome and the cows are gentle, curious and used to company.
- Guided small-group sessions, every day of the week
- Brushing, hand-feeding and, in season, bottle-feeding calves
- Overnight guests book from the Guest App; day visitors can join too
- Bring a camera: this is the photo of the trip

Cows on your doorstep
Stay at The Roost or a Casita and the mini cows graze in the backyard. Morning coffee with a Highland calf at the fence is a regular occurrence.

Private and group cuddles
Celebrating something? Private sessions and group cuddles for reunions, retreats and bachelorette weekends can be arranged, and a group cuddle is included with a Promised Land Village buyout.
From our guests
“Went for my significant other and my birthday for cow cuddles ❤️ it was fun but sadly we couldn't take the animals home lol the staff were extremely helpful and attentive, which made everything even better but the best part was of course the baby highland cows and other animals 🥰”
“My husband and I spent our one year anniversary at the Milk and Honey Ranch. We had an amazing time. The animals are super friendly, I especially loved the baby goat cuddles! Shout out to Nicole, she was amazing telling us all about the farm life. We plan to travel back with our kiddos this summer.”
Good to know
Do I need to be an overnight guest?
No. Overnight guests book from the Guest App, and day visitors can book a session on our website. Overnight guests get first pick of times.
Is it safe for young children?
Yes. Our cows are miniature Highlands, gentle and used to people. A guide is with you the whole time and children stay with their adults.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind a little pasture on. The cows are fluffy and friendly, and friendly means close.
